Teenagers

Older children and teenagers can be so aware of fashion and image that it’s really important to let them express themselves uniquely during a photo-shoot. They often feel awkward having their photograph taken. It can be useful for them to look through magazines and CD cases etc to see what styles they like. Bear in mind, though, that the images you’d like to see of your son or daughter may well be very different to how they’d like to see themselves. I have worked with teenagers for several years and it wont take long to build trust between us. Provided we listen to their thoughts, we can create honest, relaxed images that everybody is happy with.

Identity and personal expression is very important during these years and, if you are willing, it can be really useful for me to spend some time photographing your teenager without you watching.

Adults

Photo-shoots of adults can unfold however you want them to. My work with adults tends to fall into two general categories:

Natural lifestyle shoots:

During these shoots, I will use mainly natural light on location to capture beautiful images with a very calm, honest feel. I am happy to help you to choose your clothes beforehand and to give advice on hair and make-up.

Fashion shoots:

This type of shoot may be in your home or on location, but often involves some artificial lighting to give stunning, modern results – similar to those images you see in magazines. During our time together, I will give you lots of direction. We will work together to produce high quality, modern images of a fabulous you. As with all of my work, I am happy to help you select clothes and give advice on hair and make-up. I also offer a hair and make-up service for an additional charge.
